Summer Reading Programs

Summer Reading will take place June 9 – July 14. This year’s theme is Be Creative @ Your Library! Programs will take place on Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. in the meeting room. Schedule is as follows:

  • June 23 – Magician: Fish the Magish
  • June 30 – Movie – Tale of Despereaux (G)

Friends of the Library Quarterly Meeting

The Friends of the Pamplico Public Library will hold their quarterly meeting on June 2, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. in the meeting room. Spring Book Sale

2nd Annual Spring Book Sale to be held May 2-9 in meeting room from 10:00-5:00 on operating days. Hardbacks, paperbacks, magazines and canvas tote bags will be available. Prices range from 10 cents for magazines to $1.00 for hardbacks. Pamplico Library canvas tote bags are now on sale for 20% off. Hundreds of books will be available! All proceeds go towards library programming. You can also get information about becoming a member of the Friends of the Pamplico Public Library organization. Support your local library today!

National Library Week is April 12-18, 2009. National Library Week is an annual celebration of the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate.
